Starting tonight, I am going to e-mail all of the blogs that I read who post excerpts and ask them to use full feeds. If they won’t then they’re kicked off my OPML. This is a pet peeve of mine. I don’t have time to click on links every time I want to read a post. I really hope that these blogs will give me full feeds, because some really good ones use excerpts unfortunately. I know that I’m not the only one that feels this way. Alex Barnett has posted on this very topic.
I hope you all will join me and e-mail all the blogs that don’t post full text feeds so that we can put and end to this madness.
think this sounds like a great idea…maybe you should post the blogs too and more of use can email them and get the point across

You don’t think that would be like some sort of “blog bashing”?

[...] This is a follow-up about my previous post about hating excerpted feeds. [...]

I totally agree. What is the point of subscribing if you can’t read the full post.

Don’t you hate it when [more]
Hogg’s had it, and won’t subscribe to RSS feeds that only syndicate excerpts. Although he is going to send them an email, and give them a chance to repent, I suspect he’s going to lose a feed or two in the end.
I’m not entirel…

I agree, the medium is not the message – in this context…
