This is a follow-up about my previous post about hating excerpted feeds.
With the popularity of FeedBurner, there’s no excuse for this. If you’re so hung up on the readers of your blog who only want to read excerpts, why not just make two feeds? E.G. http://feeds.feedburner.com/FreeHogg AND http://feeds.feedburner.com/FreeHoggExcerpts. How hard is that? That way, if you have readers that want excerpts they can have their cake and those of us that want full-text can eat it too.
This struck me when I was subscribing this afternoon to Valleywag, which boasts numerous different feeds, including full-text and excerpts.
So, if you want a excerpt feed, let me know and I will set one up for you.
