My most favorite torrent application on Windows is definitely µTorrent. The granddaddy of all bittorrent stuff, BitTorrent themselves has purchased said great software program.
Although BitTorrent has long offered its own application for the protocol, others such as Azureus and uTorrent have been the primary innovators in the space, building up large user communities in the process. uTorrent will ostensibly be merged with the official BitTorrent client.
I hope this doesn’t mean crappy changes are in the works for our beloved µTorrent. Hopefully BitTorrent will be wise and not try to fix something that isn’t broken.
