The (Mostly) Essential List

For anyone who is interested, here is a list of the Mozilla Firefox extensions that I currently use:

  • del.icio.us – Keep, share and discover all your favorite things.
  • Fasterfox – Performance and network tweaks for Firefox.
  • NoScript – Extra protection for your Firefox.
  • Colorful Tabs – Colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appeal of the interface.
  • Web Developer – Adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools.
  • Tab Mix Plus – Tab browsing with an added boost.
  • Greasemonkey – A User Script Manager for Firefox.
  • StumbleUpon – StumbleUpon Toolbar.
  • DownThemAll! – The mass downloader for Firefox.
  • DevBoi (offline version) – Adds a sidebar with web development resources.
  • PDF Download – Allows to choose if you want to view a PDF file inside the browser (as PDF or HTML), if you want to view it outside Firefox with your default or custom PDF reader, or if you want to download it!
  • SpellBound – Adds spell checker support to web forms and extensions.

Windows only:

  • IE Tab – Embedding Internet Explorer in tabs of Mozilla/Firefox.
