This may turn some people off, but I’m OK with that.
According to Wired, scientists now claim to have proof that the Big Bang occurred.
. . . the universe went through extremely rapid expansion in the moments after the big bang, growing from the size of a marble to a volume larger than all of observable space in less than a trillion-trillionth of a second.
I am a Christian, and a lot of Christians disagree with the Big Bang theory in favor of Creationism. I, however, subscribe to the Big Bang theory.
Borrowing a little from my dad, here’s my paraphrase of Genesis 1:1.
“In the beginning” there was a Big Bang, and “God created the heavens and the earth.”
The whole universe getting created in a trillion-trillionth of a second? Everything going exactly where it needed to be? Yeah, there was a Big Bang, and His name was God.
