05.19.06 Firefox Extension.

Filed under: Firefox, Web Apps — Hogg @ 2:15 pm

The blog has some news for its users who also use Firefox.

I just got a little treat from one of our new developers – a firefox extension. It’s pretty simple right now, basically allowing you to have a button in your browser to quickly access your account at anytime. In the extension’s options you’re able to store your login information, so all you have to do is click the Box logo and you’ll be taken to your browse page. There are some other cool things we can do with an extension/browser plugin, but they’ll have to come later.

Here’s the link to download the extension.

For those of you who don’t know, offers a free GB of online storage complete with AJAX, tags, sharing, and all kinds of goodies. If you’re interested, click here to use me as your referrer. If I get I think four more people to sign on, I get upgraded to the paid account for free (5GB plus some more features).

I can’t wait to see what new features they will roll out with in the next release of the extension.

  2. Like the site, humor and info… especially like and the firefox extension. I’ve tried ie7 beta and it’s better than ie6, but extensions are going to be the death of ie…
If you’re into what’s going on under foot – try equake. You’re browser will shake every time there is a quake and the shaking relates to the magnitude. Plus gives you where, magnitude etc.
