That’s a picture of my new rig.
I read on Sarah and Newsome‘s blogs that Zooomr, another member of the photo-sharing site club, is giving out free year-long 2.5GB Pro accounts to bloggers who post a picture that they uploaded on to Zooomr.
. . . we’re announcing today that we’re giving any blogger around (that includes our LiveJournal, Xanga and MySpace buddies too!) free 2.5GB Pro Accounts. That folks is the ability to transfer over 1700 photos per month to Zooomr for free.
If this thing is good for a year, that comes out to over 20,400 photos in the next 12 months. I don’t know about you, but I don’t take that many pictures. (Not good enough to keep anyways.)
I have played around with Zooomr a little bit a few weeks ago and it seems like it could be a real serious contender in this area. TechCrunch has written about it on more than one occasion. Michael Arrington calls it “flickr on steroids”.
One really cool feature is their GeoTagging which lets you point out on a Google Map where the picture is from. It’s cool to see all the different photos that were taken in your area.
I am definitely going to start uploading more of my photos on to this site. Why stray from BubbleShare? Because the price is right, my friends. This is probably a limited time offer, so snap it up!
